In1962, ARNAUD / AIR LIQUIDE and PEROXID CHEMIE (which became DEGUSSA Initiators in 2001 and then UNITED-Initiators in 2008) have created a joint-venture: the "Société Chalonnaise de Peroxydes Organiques": SCPO.

The company SCPO will produce, store and market organic peroxide, from the Chalon sur Saône site (Burgundy) untill 1998; Then the production facilities will be closed and the sole Organic peroxide warehouse will be kept.

In 2004, Arnaud SA (from AZELIS)  creates a subsidiary, dedicated for marketing initiators (organic peroxides, persulfates, ..), This is the start up of Europeroxydes. Nowadays, this company, which has merged with SCPO operates the sole significant organic peroxides storage in France; and distributes the whole product range of initiators from this platform. The major part of the organic peroxides which are marketed by Europeroxydes in produced by United Initiators, whose main production site is located near Munich.

Arnaud/Europeroxydes is the exclusive distributor & agent for United Initiators en France and also markets the whole range of persulfates from United Initiators, 1st worldwide producer. 

In addition, Europeroxydes produces the whole range of  polymerisation accelerators & inhibitors. These products are mainly dedicated to the composite market for curing applications.
