Organic peroxides are used for ever to cure polyester resins.

Many different processes cover a lot of applications (cold - warm - hot curing, open or closed moulds...)

When decomposing, they generate free radicals O^.which can initiate polymerisation reactions.

These polymérisation reactions can be enhanced or "controlled" or slowered with the use of accélérators or inhibitors from Azelis Peroxides product range.

Organic peroxides are used as initiators for radical polymerisation reactions in the synthesis of several polymers, as:

Polystyrene, low density polyethylene (LDPE), PVC, styrenic copolymers....
